Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, health information, or other sensitive information into a calculator or ordinary email. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal data for ordinary calculator use.

  • to understand aggregate usage, improve content and usability, and measure performance;

  • to comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect rights, safety, and property; and
  • for another purpose disclosed at the point of collection or permitted by applicable law.

4. Applicable privacy law

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection law. We seek consent where it is required and otherwise process information only where a lawful basis permits it. Consent, where requested, should be clear, specific, informed, and capable of withdrawal.

Visitors may have additional rights under the law of their country or state. This policy is intended to explain our practices globally, but it does not create rights beyond those available under applicable law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential technologies for security and operation and may use analytics and advertising technologies. 6. Service providers and disclosures

Where applicable, we use contractual, technical, organisational, or other safeguards required by law. You acknowledge that internet infrastructure and global service providers may involve cross-border processing.

8. Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and enforcement needs. Calculator values are ordinarily temporary browser data. Contact emails are retained for as long as needed to respond and maintain a reasonable record. Analytics, advertising, Clarity, CDN, and security retention periods are controlled partly by provider settings and may vary; we periodically review and reduce them where practical.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law and the status of the DPDP Act’s provisions, you may have rights to obtain information about processing, request correction or completion, request erasure, withdraw consent, manage cookies, and raise a grievance. You may also have additional rights under the law of your country or state.

To make a privacy request, email privacy@allpoolcalculators.com with the subject “Privacy Request”, explain what you need, and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant data. We may verify identity, refuse or limit a request where permitted or required by law, and retain a record of the request. You may opt out of personalised Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and manage browser or consent-banner choices as described in our Cookie Policy.

10. Children

The Services are general-audience informational tools and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly request or intentionally collect personal data from children. Under the DPDP Act, a child is a person under 18. We do not knowingly undertake behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact privacy@allpoolcalculators.com and we will assess and delete it where required.

11. Security and incidents

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will take reasonable steps to contain, investigate, remediate, and provide notices required by applicable law.
